The town of Valras, in France, has provided its promenade with smart services through the Smart In module for smart cities. The city administration has reconditioned the spaces of the promenade with designer luminaires with intelligent services at the service of the citizenry. The Smart In solution has been integrated into the interior of the new street furniture of the promenade to turn it into a Smart City space.
Design luminaires with smart services with Smart In
The French manufacturer Technilum has been responsible for the design and manufacture of the luminaires. Shiraz K lighting columns have been manufactured and the Smart In communication module has been integrated to offer the following services from the installed streetlights:
- Hi-Fi Public Adress
- Wi-Fi Connectivity
- CCTV video surveillance cameras
Gathering all these services in a single element, in this case, the Shiraz lamppost, facilitates installation and maintenance, and offers a quality environment to residents and tourists. In addition, the furniture is anodized, which highlights the natural beauty of aluminum while reinforcing its protection.
Smart In, the smart module for Smart Cities
Smart In is the AirVoice solution designed to be installed inside public urban furniture elements (luminaires, canopies, digital signage, etc.) and turns them into smart solutions at the service of the public.
The Smart In module works with IP technology and allows the integration of other technological applications, as well as: sound systems, public Wi-Fi, CCTV video surveillance, license plate reading, SOS button, bluetooth, environmental sensors and any service with IP technology.
