The world’s leading event for technologies and solutions for smart cities returns to Barcelona this 2021 from November 16 to 18. The Smart City Expo World Congress @SmartCityexpo #SCEWC fair will feature ADTEL to present the AirVoice Smart In solution for smart cities.
ADTEL will make available to the public a prototype of the Smart In module installed in a public address column, similar to the solution that is installed on the beaches of Barcelona, a project developed together with the AMB (Metropolitan Area of Barcelona), which we will talk about in detail in the event.
Smart column integration project
The AMB designed the public address column called “Columna Integral Modular” for the beaches of Barcelona. The Smart In module is integrated inside the column to offer users Hi-Fi sound system, Wi-Fi connectivity and weather sensors. The comprehensive project is made up of a total of 35 IP public address points connected by optical fiber and framed within the Smart City project of the Barcelona City Council.

Communications module for Smart City
The Smart In smart public address and communications module is the Smart City solution to be installed inside urban furniture to offer different services to citizens:

- Environmental sensors
- License plate reading
- Bluetooth
- … and any application that works over IP technology
