After the launch of the new AirVoice Smart In, the communications module for smart cities, we celebrate a new case study in France. The Bruguieres city council, a city located in the south-west of France, has increased the value of the public environment of the city center by installing designer luminaires with smart services at the service of citizens.
High design smart luminaires
The new luminaires installed in the city center have been designed by Technilum according to the creation of Quartier Lumières (lighting design). Inside each lighting column an AirVoice Smart In module has been installed to offer Hi-Fi sound systems, Wi-Fi connection and a microphone connection point. This kind of performance is ideal for outdoor events. The mimetization of the Smart In module with the urban furniture has been total, with an invaluable visual impact.
Communications module for smart cities
AirVoice Smart In is the communications module installed inside the columns in Bruguières that allows citizens to connect with their city environment. Smart In has been designed to be installed within urban elements: luminaires, bus stops, digital signage, public buildings, etc. The conventional urban furniture becomes smart solutions at the service of the public.
The Smart In module works with IP technology and allows the integration of other technological applications to serve citizens:
- Public address
- Wi-Fi
- CCTV video surveillance
- License plate reading
- SOS button
- Bluetooth
- Environmental sensors
- Any service with IP technology
