New project to install the AirSOS emergency intercom in urban areas. The device facilitates communication between citizens and the administration and emergency services. It is located in the streets of Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, to control restricted access on public roads.
In the cities there are different points where the access is private and the circulation is restricted during certain hours. For exceptional cases and emergency situations, the AirSOS intercom allows communication between users and the authority to request access. If a user needs to circulate through the restricted area outside the established time limit, they can contact the control center through the intercom to request access permission. At the same time, a security camera installed at that point will record your license plate to avoid a penalty for driving outside the permitted hours.
The emergency intercom is a totally autonomous device and allows immediate communication with the control center, emergency services, Rescue, 112 or Civil Protection according to each need. Its minimalist design, although robust against acts of vandalism, avoids visual impact with the environment.
